Questions about the Just Culture course
What buyers most often ask about the course, the certificate and the licences.
Which languages is the course in?
English and Norwegian. The two editions have the same lessons, exercises and final assessment, and you can switch between them.
How long does the course take?
About fourteen hours in all, spread over twenty-eight lessons. Most lessons take twenty-five to forty-five minutes, so the course fits well into a few weeks alongside normal work.
Do I need an account?
No. After the purchase you open the course from a link. Your progress and your reflection notes are kept in your own browser, and you can download your notes as a file.
Is the course based on SORA 2.5?
Yes. The operational safety objectives and robustness levels in the course are taken from the SORA 2.5 material EASA publishes. Where the current EASA text and the course differ, the EASA text prevails.
How does the final assessment work?
Fifteen questions are drawn from a bank for each attempt, and you pass with eighty percent correct. You can make up to three attempts a day.
What does the course certificate show?
That you completed the course and passed the final assessment. Each certificate has an id that anyone can check on the verification page. It is not a regulatory certificate or licence.
Can our whole organisation take the course?
Yes. An organisation licence covers up to ten named participants in the same organisation, and each of them can receive a course certificate. The licence terms are shown when you buy.
Does the course tell us which events we must report to the authority?
No. That depends on the rules, your operational authorisation and any conditions set by the authority. The course teaches you a four-step check and a clear rule for what always goes into your internal system.
Is the course only for large operators?
No. Several lessons deal with the small operator, where the Accountable Manager, the Safety Manager and the pilot may be one to three people, including how to get an outside view when the person who decides was involved.
